SNOW CROSS Training Camp of the Andes, Bariloche (Catedral), Argentina 2016
Hola Snow Riders!
It’s time to start thinking about summer training! We hope you are all enjoying a great winter here in the Northern Hemisphere and ready to do some great training again in Argentina.
We have some news! This season we are going back to Bariloche with the Snow Cross Training Camp in "Cerro Catedral" the largest Ski Resort in South America. The resort is committed to making an even more enjoyable training experience with the addition of 5 new snow cat’s and one entirely dedicated to SCTC. In addition we will be hosted by hotel in the base ski resort at 300 mts ski lift, with lunch and dinner now at Rodeo restaurant (breakfast at the hotel).
The Ski center has an approximate altitude of 1000 mts at the base and 2100 mts at the top. New this year will be a longer training course and we are working on being able to offer you the opportunity to use snowmobiles for a faster turnaround (small up charge).
For SX & SBX we will be upgrading the start gate’s according to FIS Homologation standards/our standardswith one on the actual course again and the separate start gate/start section to pull starts (approx 60-75 mts long) that we will change the features and be more accessible in inclement weather. We are also in the process of working out details on a SAC SX/SBX event at the end of session one.
Also important to say, the camp will consist of 2 separate session’s: from approx August 6 to 20 and from August 27 to September 23, so you can organize your tentative calendars ahead of time.
We are all super exited to be back in Catedraland hosting everyone again in 2016
Best wishes for everybody and hoping to see you soon,
